カメラが欲しい / I want cameras

カメラについて。

フィルムカメラは一時期キャノンデートマチックを愛用していたものの、変なエクトプラズムが写りこむようになって以来放置。
新宿の中古屋で、8年くらい前に確か5千円で買ったはず。

デジカメは、同じくキャノンのixyデジタル（初代！）を、へたったバッテリーを新調までして未だに愛用中。2メガピクセルですよ。画素数は携帯電話並か以下ですよ。2GBのCFを突っ込むと最高画質でも2千枚くらい写真が取れてしまう。
これは、ヤマダ電機かサトームセンか、5年くらい前に処分品を2万円くらいで買ったもの。

いずれもそれなりに気に入っている（いた）んだけど、たまに他人様の写真を見ていると、わが愛機よりもやはり綺麗に撮れていたりするので、そろそろ新しい、ちゃんとしたカメラが欲しい気持ちになってきた。

どうせ買うなら一眼レフ、デジイチを買って、いろいろ撮影してみたい。
レンズとかフィルターとかも買うんだーと意気込んでいたところで、デジカメの構造についてネットで勉強したら、結構奥が深かった。

つまり、35mmフィルムカメラがやっぱ一番綺麗に撮影できるのね。
ということが分かったらフィルムカメラも欲しくなる。
でもいくらなんでもカメラ2台もいらないだろ、何か理由かセールスポイントがないと自分も納得できない、と思っていたところに妙案。

フィルムカメラは中古でいいんじゃないか？
中古で、昔の（ほどほどの）名機を仕入れたら話のタネにも自己満足にもなるし、楽しいじゃないか！


というわけで、財源は冬のボーナスで、カメラを買うことが決定しました。
デジイチは適度な感じのエントリモデルを、フィルムカメラは鶏冠機か岩清水機を探そうと思ってます。
何のことか分かるかな？
この頃のカメラは筐体の見た目がとてもいい味出してて好感持てます。

I used to take snaps by CANON Datematic.
I loved the shape of the camera. It was really good looking for me.
It was old and went bad condition little by little, so I don't use it anymore these days.
The price, I remenber , was just 5,000 yen. I bought it about 10 years ago at second hand at Shinjuku.
(I was born in 1975, and this camera was made in 1974! This is older than me.)

I also have a degital camera.
It is the very first edition of IXY Degital.
(English name is "IXUS".)
I love it and I even changed the battery when the first one's life went out.
It is just 2-mega-pixel camera. Even cell phone has more amount of pixels nowadays.
If I use 2-gigabyte compact flash to store the photo data, I can take more than 1,000 snaps. That's great.
Although the picture quality is not so good compared to the new cameras, I love this camera, too.

But now, to be honest, I want new one.
If I will buy new one, I want professional one, the single-lens reflex (SLR) degital camera.
So I started to study about SLR on the web (I thank google!), and I found it really interesting.
I could understand the difference between a compact degital camera and SLR degital one.
But there is also a big difference between SLR degital camera and SLR film one!

The difference is the size of image recording area.
Talk about the size, the width of 35mm film camera is, of course, 35mm.
But the width of major digital SLR camera is only 22mm to 23mm.
(There are a few degital SLR that has same size as 35mm film camera, but it is really expensive. I think it's for REAL professionals!)
So the area (square measure) of the memory of the 35mm film camera would be twice of the major degital SLR one.
That makes the difference of picture quality very much.

After studying about cameras, I want SLR film camera, too.
(I also want to get new degital SLR camera, though)
I don't care even it's a second hand because I like the looks of old cameras. What's more, it will be less expensive. That would be great!
Finally I desided to buy both when I get next bonus.
I am very excited because I will be having a camera which was once active on the front line 20 years ago! That's cool!
I can hardly wait December!
